I realise how and why you're doing the audio stripping from muxed MPEG1 files, but I guess what I'm asking is when the audio is extracted, and then finally resync'ed with the exported video, what settings are actually used? And how do I change them?
Could there not be a fall back setting? So, when the clip is preprocessed and the audio is extracted, it is recompressed with a setting that I can know about and change. At the moment the setting doesn't seem to be specified anywhere, but it must be something specified internally.
I realise that this could possibly be a little out of the scope of Podner, but it might be worth supporting, given you've gone to the effort of working around Quicktime's limitations with MUXed streams. In addition to moving clips to my iPod with video, I'm using Podner to process clips to stream from Quicktime Streaming Server in a better, and more efficient environment than using Quicktime Pro itself.
Once last thing, what I'd really like to be able to do is have the UI non-modal, so once Podner is processing, I can still add/remove clips from the queue.
