Hi!

Would exporting a slide show in iPhoto at large (720x480) give Ponder more to work with when encoding down to H.264 multi-pass (320x240)? Would it look better?

Thanks!

That's probably best, since it seems to be the only way to get high-quality images directly from iPhoto to a QuickTime movie file. There are quite a few unknowns about how iPhoto is configuring its own QuickTime export - all it lets the user choose is the output dimensions. So, higher resolutions should produce better source material for future use, such as processing with Podner.
