This used to be a GREAT program.
Until recently.
It hangs (must force quit) on every file I throw at it.
I have tried converting the files then sending them to ABB (NaDa... nothing)
I have been reading the forums and it seems that it's a quicktime issue?
Is this being addressed? :?

Has anyone found a way to make this program work?

It's a QuickTime issue. Specifically, QuickTime 7.2 and later take a very long time (compared to previous versions of QuickTime) to "flatten" AAC audio data. Flattening occurs every time Audiobook Builder joins audio files together - and it does a lot of joining. While QuickTime is flattening it doesn't send progress updates to the host application, Audiobook Builder, leaving it in limbo until the flattening phase is completed. Afterward, progress updates resume and it becomes responsive again. The only workaround we have right now is to give Audiobook Builder extra time because it will finish if given the chance. :(

Thanks for the info.....
Do we know yet if this "issue" is or will be addressed?
