Within iTunes, there's an Audiobooks section available under the Library listings and that's distinctly separate from the Music section. Audiobook Builder actually automatically adds built-files to wherever they need to be in iTunes, though. So all you really need to do to add items to your iPod is to make sure that your iPod shows in iTunes under Devices, select the iPod's name from there, click the Books button towards the top right of the window, see that ‘Sync Audiobooks’ is checked off, and initiate a Sync. Then, on the iPod, you'll find the Audiobooks under the More/Audiobooks section within the Music app. You also asked about file formats and Audiobook Builder, by default, saves M4B files (but can also create M4A). Both M4B and M4A files work great on any iPod. |
