Is there a way to print checkbook register for specified dates or months?

It is indeed possible to print Entries for only a particular date range. Basically, what you see in the Entry section is what you'll get in a printout so you'll want to use QuickFilters to limit the visible information to the date range. For that, click the magnifying glass symbol in the white Search field at the top of the window and then choose the 'Last > Month', 'This > Month', or Custom Date range option there. After that, choosing 'Print...' from the File menu should do the trick.
