I cannot figure out (I'm not only a new Checkbook user...I'm a new MAC user) how to erase entries from the To/From. Sometimes I may only write a check to a place once but it stays in the list in To/From while I would like to keep the ones that I use consistently. How do I delete entries from the To/From drop down list?

I too would like to delete some names.
Using CheckBook Pro v2.04
Edit account - To/From selected

All I see is:
To
From

I see none of my entries.
Am I missing something?
Is there a difference between CheckBook and CheckBook Pro?

Please help.

In the To/From panel you will see a downward pointing arrow. Click on it and choose the Account you wish to import the items To and From items from. They will then appear in the window.

Yes! Yes! that works, getting to really liking this program.

A tip I use is - keep the Category list to a minimum.
This makes the Summary tab more useful -to me, (although not as detailed)
example
Utilities - all monthly bills for house.

This program seems so flexible, that it is easy to get lost in the Summary tab.

I'm just easing in to it.

I tried deleting entries...but does this not delete the entire entry with the money amount as well? I don't want to delete the entry itself....just the name in the drop down list because I may never write a check to this entry again....

Again...
From the top menu bar: Account >Edit Account... click To/From, and add and delete to your heart's delight.
