I'm having a lot of trouble getting a good report. I import all my transactions from my banks and credit cards as qifs and that works fine - except it won't autofill categories based on what is already entered under existing to/froms, which is a pain.
In addition, Whenever I move money from one account to the other, or do bill pays to credit card accounts, the resulting transactions appear as expenses in my reports - say I want to do a "where have I spent my money in the last 3 months?", I see the transfers as expenses which they aren't because the money is not going out.
Can you explain how to get these two problems resolved?

In CheckBook Pro, automatically filling the Category based on previous To/From's for imported data is something we have considered adding in the past. We will keep it in mind for future releases of CheckBook Pro.

I can see where you're coming from but in the context of a single Account, a transfer from an Account to another is an expense for that Account even though it is going to another one of your Accounts. How about CheckBook Pro's global Accounts Summary? Those transfers should wash out, making it possible for you to see where your money went.

I hope that gets you going again, but if not let us know if you have additional questions.
