I am doing end of year report and I want to be sure to add the categories to show how much I earned.
I entered all my deposits with categories in the splits. Everything has a category.
When I try to see a report of deposits some entries have categories others do not and show only "deposit". I do the same thing in all of them but I am obviously missing something since it shows up in some and not in others. What could I be overlooking? I do ask the report to include subcategories and sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas?

So long as you have Categories checked off in the Subtotal section for the Summary options, those Category Subtotals should show under the appropriate subtotaling period. Would you be willing to send us some screenshots of where you're looking in your various Summaries? If so, attach the screenshots to an email to support@splasm.com and we'll see if we can locate a clue as to what's going on there.
