Is it possible to share CheckBook with Multiple User Accounts in OS X? I currently have CheckBook set up in my OS X User Account which means my wife needs to log into my account to access CheckBook. I'd like to have her be able to open CheckBook in her OS X account and have have our checking info updated for both of us. Is this possible?

That's interesting. Instead of the CB files defaulting into a USER file>Library, perhaps it could go into the HD>Library. This could be selected when setting up a new account in Preferences, and use ballot boxes to select Authorized users.

What would happen if you put an ALIAS of CB in her account? I have only one user on my machine, so I can't try it. Would the alias work? (I suppose you'd probably get the cannot find... dialog box)

OR, create a Disk Image. The June 2006 issue of MacWorld (page 80) had a detailed explanation about how to do this with iPhoto (which also puts files in each user's area). This option may work, but it's a bit complicated. Also, the disk image may (?) vanish if you reboot the Mac, because it must unmount first.
