It looks like this topic has been posted...but I was unable to find it answered. It there a way to set-up true recurring entries for checks/ deposits? For example, I have an automatic withdrawal that happens the first of every month. Is there a way to enter this once and make it recurring? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you can set up a recurring entry by clicking on the 'Schedule' tab at the bottom of the window, and then creating your entry like normal. You will notice there is a new tab in the entry creation sheet labeled 'Schedule' that will allow you to modify its repeating schedule.

This should allow you to set up recurring entries that will pop up an alert when they are due and allow you to commit those entries with a click. I hope this is what you are looking for!

(Repeat request) I'd like to see it commit automatically, x days in advance. It doesn't do much for budgeting if it doesn't pop up until the scheduled transaction date!

I personally use the look ahead feature in the scheduled sheet at the bottom for budgeting. You can get to the scheduled sheet by clicking on the Scheduled button at the top of the schedule tab. This will let you drag a slider forward in time and update your projected balance in real time. You can then gauge how your scheduled entries are going to impact your balance at any given point in time without altering your actual account. You can watch your money slowly stack up over time (and hopefully not bleed away  )

I will also add another tally to the auto commit request in our request list. Thanks for the feedback guys!

While you're at it, add a feature that will commit the next occurrence of a scheduled event as soon as the previous event is checked off as being resolved. I think that's really how it should work in a seamless interface!
