On the 25th every month there is an automatic transfer from my Checking account to my Savings account. I noticed the red bagde (with the number 1)in the “All Accounts “ tab of both the Checking and Savings Accounts. I went to the checking account “Scheduled Entries” and OK’d the commit amount. The red badge from the checking account disappeared, as I expected it would; but the red badge (with the number 1) in the savings account did not! When I went into the account I did notice that the transfer was made to the savings account. Shouldn’t the red badge have disappeared? Actually I went to the “Scheduled Entries” in the Savings account and OK’d the commit total only to have the transfer duplicated. |

If you create the transfer and use the 'to/from' popup menu next to the to/from field and select 'to/from account' then choose the account as a standard transfer, you should see the origin entry appear in the origin account and the destination entry appear in the destination account. When you create a scheduled transfer, you only need to create it from either the origin account or the destination account. You do not need to create it from both. |

With a scheduled transfer, you should only see a red badge on the account that you started the transfer in. If you see a badge for each account, that may mean you have a scheduled transfer in each account and would be doubling your efforts that way. You can safely delete one of the scheduled transfers and have the remaining transfer do both sides when it is committed. |
