I am running Checkbook Pro 2.1.1. For my entries, I choose to show only the current month in the register. After updating to 2.1.1, I cannot get the current month to hold. It always reverts back to "All Dates each time I open the application. I have tried using Custom Dates, etc., but I cannot seem to find a way to keep the register in the "This Month" mode.

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

MacBook Pro, 2GHZ Intel Core Duo
1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Mac OS x 10.6.4

Thanks,

Timber

Search filter criteria won't "stick." You should set up a "smart folder" which would appear in the drawer to the right, and keep the folder highlighted (which WILL stick).

Oh. And change the folder's name from "Smart Folder" to "Current Month Transactions" or whatever suits your fancy.

You can have lots of smart folders. I have one for each year (been a user since 2005) and you can mix and list them as you wish.

You will want to double check the 'Save QuickFilter Options between Sessions' checkbox in CheckBook's preferences and make sure its checked. CheckBook was originally saving some Quickfilter options between sessions when we didn't intend it to. Now that we fixed that a few versions back, some people got used to it saving by default. To make sure it saves again, just check the box and you should be set.

Thanks, Randy and t3rockhall. That did the trick. It is working like before. And, yes, I do learn something every day.

Cheers,

Timber :)
