I imported Quicken files to start off with Checkbook Pro. The Quicken "To/From" names all imported with first letter capitalized only. Entires that SHOULD be all upper case entries (like "AAA") instead read "Aaa". I can edit the to/from in an individual entry to "AAA", but it reverts back to "Aaa" as soon as I hit enter.

I'm sure there must be a simple solution that I am not seeing.

Figured it out.

My problem was that the auto-complete option was overriding my edits on to/from names.

Fix was:

Go to "Account/Edit Account/to/from"

In "AutoCompete to/from Fields Using" select the last choice, "The Following To'From items" and leave the list blank.

You can then edit your to/from fields in your checkbook and the changes will stay in place.

You can then go back to the same Account/Edit Account/to/from and select "The Last 25 (or 50) Entered to/from items" to have the newly corrected items AutoComplete.
