I have a MacPro running CheckBook and I need to install CheckBook on my MacBook Air.
Is there an easy way to keep the 2 computers in sync > maybe via DropBox?

I use ChronoSync, and simply sync from one to the other and back again. I sync the entire user folder only, but you could also just specify the Applications Support folder, although this won't sync other documents or photos. This method means that you first have to sync to the computer you are going to use for a while, maybe on a trip, and then re-sync back to the other when you return home. To have everything running the same everywhere, a cloud solution is probably called for.

Let's look at the DropBox possibility. Can I simply put Accounts.plist into DropBox and be good to go?

CheckBook supports symbolic links to point to the account file so you can use something like dropbox as a storage location. If you would like directions on how to create a symbolic link, you can find it in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=468&p=1473&hilit=symbolic+link#p1473

This does involve some command line work in the terminal, so if you are not comfortable with this, I wouldn't suggest this as a solution.

I also recently ran across another application that could allow you to sync folders outside of the dropbox folder. This way you could sync the CheckBook accounts folder where it is (in theory... We have not yet been able to test how well it works). Here is the link: http://wiki.dropbox.com/DropboxAddons/MacDropAny

Too much trouble. Perhaps Splasm might consider some sort of cloud solution on its own, somewhere down the line...
Thanks for answering, though. For now, it looks like more trouble than it's worth.

Been using the dropbox solution since I purchased CBP... definitely not too much trouble... actually, it's a simple and elegant solution.
