I have been using CheckBook and now CheckBook 2 Pro since 2005. I just decided to move my CheckBook folder to my DropBox and then create a SymLink back to the Application Support folder. I just found that my CheckBook 2/Backups folder is 73 MB / 176 items.
My question is how many of these Accounts_X_XX_XXXX.plist.Z files can I safely delete ?
Is there a way to limit the number of backup files that CheckBook creates or saves so that I don't get into this situation again ?
Thanks in advance.

IMO, just delete any that you feel you have no use for. Perhaps save the year-end one for each year, but they
really have no use (until you
really need them). Or burn them to a CD if you are so anal-retentive that you'll lose sleep once they're gone. Just don't throw out the current one! If you are running Time Machine, I'd say that they have no value at all. But that's just me, and I have no connection with the product except as a user.
