All of my scheduled deposits and debits are set up as monthly recurring entries... and almost all of them have the "if schedule falls on a weekend, use preceding Friday" option set. However, some are due on the 10th & 11th of the month, which this month falls on the weekend... and these debits do not appear on the schedule AT ALL for this month. Why is that? When I look at the entry in the schedule section of the program, it appears to be correct. But in the SCHEDULE / Scheduled Entry list, these transactions are NOT there. |

It looks like this will happen with the first Scheduled Entry for a Schedule whose start date falls on a weekend and it's set to use the preceding Friday. Take this weekend. If you set up a Schedule to fall on 12/10 and also to use the preceding Friday its first Scheduled Entry would actually fall on 12/9. I found that our code mistakenly culls the first Entry in that case because its date is technically before the Schedule is supposed to start. We've got a fix for you and I'll let you know the details shortly in a follow-up email. Thanks for the catch! |
