can you view the check # on the reports or make a summary report of only one catagory such as utilities in your report? |

You'll be able to see the Check # if you have 'Entry Details' selected as the Style for your Summary. So, try creating a custom summary by hitting the New button at the top of the Summary section. Toward the middle of the window that opens, click in the bubble beside where it says 'Entry Details'. For a Summary that shows only Entries categorized as 'Utilities', just click in the box toward the bottom, where it says 'Filter'. Then choose 'Category' to the right of that and type 'Utilties' in the white field labeled 'For:'. |
