I have reconciled my first statement to the penny without a problem. I have resolved all the items on my second statement to the penny, but the reconcile button remains grayed-out so i can't finish. What gives? |

Did you manually enter the correct "statement balance" from your bank statement? Is the "unreconciled amount" window zero (if it isn't zero, the reconcile button will be gray)? |

Yes. I entered the ending balance on the second statement. I am "trying" the software on a trial basis. Could that have anything to do with it? I only get to reconcile once without puchasing? And...yes, the un-reconciled amount is 0.00. that's what's so confusing. |

You can also only enter a very limited number of items in the trial version. You will have to wait for a moderator to answer your questions, then. |

Yeah, if you had everything marked as Resolved, typed in your Statement Balance, hit Return, and the Unreconciled says 0.00 then the Reconcile button should become available. If everything matches up right, then there isn't really an explanation for why it's not available, whether you are using a trial copy or not. Perhaps you could send a screenshot of your Reconcile section over to us at support@splasm.com . We can take a look at it and let you know if we spot any discrepancies. Thanks! |
