Post subject:  An odd use for scheduled transactions

I set up a system that works well for me when I was using Quicken. I made a bunch of scheduled transactions and in Quicken, I could just add them when I wanted to. Often I would add them to my register in advance, using the register as a cash flow to see whether there was sufficient money for the bills. I can't figure out how to do that in CBPro - I have scheduled my repeating transactions but can't figure out how to make them appear in the register. I suspect there's something I'm missing here so pile on if you can!

Thanks,

Marco

Select the account you want the transaction to apply to > select schedule at the bottom of the window > Make up the transactions as normal > don't forget the schedule option to set the dates.
If you want to apply them before the date set. Select Scheduled on the top of the account window > tick submit on the window containing all the scheduled payments. The dates set in the schedule still apply but you can enter them before time.

The look ahead option at the bottom of the window is useful too.

Not really what you are looking for but may go someway towards it.

Thanks! I think that will do it, or close enough!
