i have had check book for almost a yr and have reconciled every month, so this is not new to me.

2 months ago i reconciled, all still there looks good.
last month i reconciled seemed fine, but when i looked again to reconcile again it was gone. figured it was something i did wrong. redid everything reconciled the next month--all looked good until

now everything i have done for the last 2 months is gone again. the only new thing is the upgrade to mountain lion, but otherwise nothing???
any thoughts???

Have you checked to make sure that you are not filtering out reconciled items in the search drop down list?

As long as you're using version 2.3.2, the upgrade to Mountain Lion shouldn't have caused any issues...

Also, if checking for a QuickFilter doesn't do the trick, next, be sure that you're in the main Account you're trying to work with, by clicking on its name in the Accounts drawer. If your Accounts drawer is closed, hit the Accounts button in the top right corner of the window to reopen it.

Now, should all of that still not turn up your missing Entries, it's possible that some data loss occurred along the way. Since the application saves automatically each time it's closed, some sort of interruption can lead to new stuff not being saved. An interruption could be a computer crash or as simple as force quitting the application or leaving it open until something else forces it to quit, like a power outage, battery dying, or shut down of the system. Is it possible that any of those scenarios prevented the application from saving properly?
