Post subject:  Help with reconciling?

Hello!

After updating, the "reconcile" option seems to work differently. When I reconcile, it does nothing but clear the check marks I had placed in various statements.

I'm not sure exactly what to do.

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong, and what I can do to fix this issue :)

Thanks!

In the latest update, nothing's really changed in the code related to Reconciling. The 'Reset Unreconciled Entries' button is intended to clear out the Resolved checkmarks, though. Are you hitting that button or the Reconcile button?

I'm having the same problem with reconciliation. When I'm going through the register checking entries which have cleared the bank, I sometimes find an entry which needs correction. I go back to entry to make my correction. When I okay the correction, all the entries I have already checked have disappeared. I have to use reset resolved entries to get the register back to the original state. Then I have to start all over from the beginning. Pretty frustrating. I try to make sure entries are correct before starting reconcile, but this time I had 3 corrections to make and had to start at the beginning each time. I have used this version for several months and have not had this problem before.
I'm using Checkbook Pro 2.5.7 (212)
Help please.

There shouldn't be any reason for entries to suddenly disappear after a change is made unless there's a Search Option involved. To ensure no Search options are active, go up to the white Search field at the top of the window, click the magnifying glass symbol inside it, and select 'Clear all Search Options'.

Also, since you're using 2.5.7, which is an older version, you'll want to update to get all the latest bug fixes. To get the latest version, visit our site at http://www.splasm.com/checkbookpro/update.html and follow the steps below 'Get the update'.
