Hi all. As I have become yet another Apple convert, I am in the process of porting all my windows applications to MAC apps. Using Microsoft Money before, I decided to give CB a try as my checkbook application of choice. Having purchased v2 and using it this past month, I am pleased with the program so far. Today was my first "reconciliation" and I have a few questions (that also maybe considered recommendations for future releases).

1) At the start of the recon. process, when you enter the ending balance from the statement, one should also be able to enter both a) any bank fees charged and b) any interest you might have accrued for that month. Then let the program add it automatically to your register and check it off as reconciled. Right now, you have to manually add those debits and credits BEFORE you start the recon. process and check them off. Not a big deal but a "nice to have", if possible.

2) Is there a way (and if not, another suggestion for a future release) to remove the view of "reconciled" transactions after you successfully reconciled your checkbook ? Money has an option to display "ALL Transactions" (both reconciled or not) or just the "Unreconciled" transactions. Personally, once I balance my account to the bank statement, there is no need to see EVERYTHING all the time unless I want to see that particular view. Showing just the "unreconciled" transactions also makes for easier viewing, with less scrolling, and less screen space.

Thanks for your time !

unreconciled (unresolved) entries alone can be selected in the info box at the top. Voila!

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. Maybe I'm missing something though. What "info" box ?
