Hi there, I am a new use, and so for its all good. I was wondering if there is a way to combine 2 accounts in 1? Thanks, Kip |

Hi Kip, In the basic CheckBook (green pen icon), the ability to combine data from multiple Accounts isn't there but with Pro (blue pen), it's possible. Basically, the Pro version combines data from all of your Accounts when the All Accounts option is selected. If you're on basic, here's where you can try out Pro: http://www.splasm.com/checkbookpro/index.html Supposing you have more than those two Accounts you want to see combined, you could lock the other Accounts with passwords and that would hide the information from the All Accounts view. |

I do have the Pro version, purchased through MacApp Store. (Yesterday) I can only open one account at the time. Even when I click the "Accounts" button on the upper right side of the GUI. To open another account, I have to close the app, and open from the folder I have it saved to. I cannot seem to view all accounts. Any ideas? Thanks, Kip |

Kip, That sounds like you actually setup two different Accounts document files—that's done using the New option under the File menu. To add a second account within a single file, choose 'New Account...' from the Account menu. Only Accounts in the same file will be combined under All Accounts. So, since you're just starting out, perhaps you could go ahead and re-input your second account within the first file before continuing. |
