Post subject:  Different colors needed for data entries

As a brand-new user of CB Pro I still have old habits to satisfy. First let me say that bringing Quicken (QIF) files across has never been this easy. Yes, I was even one of the original manual writers for Quicken Mac ver. 1.5. Yet, we still many times need hard copies of our data. We use black/white laser printers on all computers. All colors available on your color wheel are no good for that. We need black print on our hard copies. Speaking from many years of experience, colors on b/w printers will fade quickly and are very dull and hard to read to start with. Is there a way you can replace the current color wheels with one that incorporates BLACK? After this many years with Quicken (always black) it is very hard to get used to colors.

Other than that, Guys, bang up job with this program. Still, I'm sure you will hear from me again re: other stuff. Answer this whenever you have a chance. No Hurry!!! :)

Thanks for the positive feedback :).

Apple's standard color picker window should come up when you change your Debits and Deposits colors in CheckBook Pro's preferences so black's already available. In the color wheel section (select the first button in the color picker toolbar) drag the slider on the right side of the picker down to the bottom. Or, my personal favorite is in the crayons section (select the last button in the color picker toolbar) - hit the black crayon, which Apple calls "Licorice", on the bottom row.

How's that work?
