I just finished entering some transactions and when try to close checkbook the following message appears: ***************************** CheckBook Pro 2.5.6 Build 3 Saving Accounts Document Opening database  Unable to create file. Source: /Volumes/ELIO BACKUP/Accounts.cbaccounts/Accounts.db Destination: /var/folders/_9/xx1qdxk91214kpysktzvltbh0000gn/T/com.splasm.checkbookpro2/94EEB94A-A6D3-4983-BA8F-A406543C486C-658-00000541E6F42ED0 The file “Accounts.db” doesn’t exist. ******************* and I can't close CheckBook. and "Accounts.cbaccounts" is in the hard drive as a file, with 3.2MB size, no as a folder, and there is no "Accounts.db" file (ELIO BACKUP is just a name for my external hard drive where my files has been sin ce 2007). |

We worked with eliovi through email support to clear things up but I'm posting this response for the benefit of any other users who face similar issues later and come here to seek out an answer... Basically, the issue turned out to have been a temporary error likely due to the external hard-drive having become temporarily inaccessible. Checking the connection to the drive and relaunching should do the trick. |
