Is there a way to setup the view in my account to view only unreconciled transactions? I hate having all my entries there; it would look much cleaner (and easier to reconcile) if I'm only looking at those unreconciled transactions.

You can also click on the check box in the heading line to sort by resolved. Then click date to put it back into date sequence. Clicking any heading will sort by that column. You can leave it any way you want.

For the life of me I can't find the search facility that enables me to show only the unreconciled transactions. As the OP said, it would be great to just see those transactions that are unreconciled, rather than having the whole transaction list.

I can't seem view just by date range either.

I've imported an account from Microsoft Money and am trialling prior to purchase. It's looking good at the mo :D .

Thanks for your help.

My wife managed to find the dialog referred to above, so the view is sorted... but only until you close and then re open the program, where it seems to revert back to the default view. Progress but not perfection I guess.

There's a preference to tell CheckBook to preserve search/filter options between sessions. Go to the CheckBook or CheckBook Pro menu at the top left of your screen, click Preferences..., then make sure either the "Save QuickFilter Options Between Sessions" or "Save Search Options When Switching Accounts" options near the bottom of the window are enabled. That'll save and restore your search/filter options when switching Accounts and when reopening your documents. We're playing with ideas for a better name for that ;).
