Post subject:  Account: Resolved Balance <--- how do I change?

I have a credit card account whose balance is off by approx. the same amount of that same account's Resolved Balance. I think the two are related, so I'd like to take a look at the transactions that are marked as Resolved, just to see if they're duplicates. However, when I do a search for Resolved transactions (using the Search field and selecting General + Resolved), no transactions show up. I can't seem to find any duplicate transactions, but I don't know why else my accounts would be off by a few thousand dollars. (I suspect that I was a little overzealous when I was importing and double-imported some transactions).

How can I locate these resolved transactions? I've tried sorting by resolved (no transactions with check marks in the Resolved column appear) - no luck.

What else can I try?

Any Starting Balance set for an account is included in the Resolved Balance but essentially hidden from view. To check your Starting Balance, choose 'Edit Account...' from the Account menu at the top of the screen. It could be that your starting balance was added to the Starting Balance and also recorded as an entry, which would cause an inaccurate doubling-up of the value, so clearing out the Starting Balance field may do the trick.
