Is it possible to edit the list of categories? I know it's possible to add additional categories, but how do I remove categories, many of which are of no use to me? |

It is indeed possible! If you're using the Pro version, just go up to click the Account menu at the top of the screen and select the Edit All Accounts menu option, to get started (or, if you’re using the basic CheckBook version, head to the CheckBook menu, select the Preferences menu option, and click “Categories" there). Once you have the list in front of you, select any item and hit the Remove button marked with a slashed-circle, then you’re set. |
