I have several payees that require split transactions. Multiple but not all categories repeat each month. Is there some way to set up a template for these transactions so that I don't have to start from scratch each time? At this point, I use a hand written categories list to make certain that entries are consistent as some categories have multiple entries during the month. For example, there are several categories of fees, insurance, etc that recur each month to the same payee. Thanks in advance. |

The best option would probably be to setup a Split Schedule. To get started, head to the Schedule section and hit the Debit or Deposit button, up top. Then, you can enter your splits after clicking the Split button. Going forward, from there, you'll be able to commit a new Scheduled Entry for the month with a single clickâone that already has the various split lines added to it, then you can just double-click the committed Scheduled Entry and make changes, as needed. |
