Starting to think about 2027 budget and realized that when I change a budgeted category for 2027, it changes my 2026 budget as well. Am I missing something obvious, or is there a way around this? Great product! |

Typically, editing a Budget Goal will do that, but if you switch to where Year by Month is selected, you can move into 2027 and double-click the Target for each month of 2027 and make some changes, then nothing prior to those months will be affected. Basically, you'll just start by clicking the menu button that's up at the top of the main window and selecting the Year by Month menu option. Then, click the right arrow button next to "Year by Month" and you'll find each individual month's Target for 2027 can be edited individually. |
