Besides the softlock I previouly mentioned for reconciled transactions.. It would be really helpful to have reconcile keep track of Subtotals for the Usual catagories, e.g. Checks, Withdrawals, Deposits. When your off it is a lot easier to see where you went wrong. This month the bank made a mistake in my favor by $100 dollars. Made be crazy until I exported the month to text into Excell broke up into three catagores and I could see cleanly that my withdrawals and Checks were in agreement but my Depsoits were $100 too little because the bank messed up. A lot less work if that functionality is on the main reconcile page like it is for Reconcile Balance and opening balance. |

It would also be nice if the app kept track of the actual computer date an entry or entry modification was made. I recently entered a debit with an incorrect date and it took me hours to find it (by amount, of course) and correct the activity date. Also, it might be a good thing to be able to LOCK a smart folder to prohibit changes from being made to its contents. That could easily be done in the smart folder edit dialog box. |
