I upgraded to version 2.0.1 from version 1.8.1 hoping that a problem with incorrect totals in filtered exported files had been fixed. As I reported in an email to technical support, it hasn't been. Since I find version 2.0.1 no real improvement over 1.8.1 and since 2.0.1 has a number of "features" that I don't care for how do I go back to using version 1.8.1? What do I have to do to convert the data files back to version 1.8.1?

We received your email about the filtered totals and were working on finding what the issue was. We discovered what the issue was just recently, and it is now fixed it for a 2.0.2 release of CheckBook and CheckBook Pro. I apologize for the delay if you hadn't received an email back. Sometimes we get wrapped up in the fixing of the problem and forget to let you know that we are working on it.

If after this you are still not satisfied with CheckBook 2, you can email customer service and we can issue you a refund. We can also help you in moving your accounts back to 1.8.1 if that is the case.

Thanks for taking the time to voice your concerns. If you have any other issues, please feel free to post or email.

Since you have fixed the issue with the filtered totals I will continue to use CheckBook Pro and wait for the 2.0.2 release. It is important to me to be able to export filtered data to another application and have the totals be correct. While you're at it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could improve the performance of CheckBook Pro at least back to the levels experienced with version 1.8.1. CheckBook Pro is annoyingly s-l-o-w both to launch and to use.
