Two CheckBook Pro problems:

I have a couple of monthly scheduled entries that I no longer use. I can remove them from the list (Schedule menu -> Schedule Entries), but they show up again the next month. Kind of like the undead.

Also, if I make a transfer debit from my checking account to savings, the "type" field in the savings register is always empty.

Any fixes I can try? Thanks.

I suspect this is your problem:
Consider that there are two parts to scheduled transactions - the schedule and the actual transactions. You must get rid of both parts.
Use the "Schedule" button on the bottom of the entry screen to bring up the scheduled items screen, highlight the offending item and remove it via the button at the top left.. Then -- part 2 - Click "Scheduled" on the top left, highlight the scheduled item that you don't want to happen, and remove it. I think what happened to you is you removed the schedule all right, but the next scheduled event was already in place, so it must also be removed.

The transfer question will have to wait for a splasm person.

The transfer to savings does not have a type in the savings account because types can be different for each account. We can't be sure that the type included in account A is also present in account B. For those that are specific about their types and rely on it for classification or billing would not be pleased if transfers were able to add types that were not specifically set up in that account.

That all makes sense. I was able to remove the scheduled entries -- was doing this in the wrong place. Thanks for the replies.
