:( Forgive me but it would be very helpful if someone familiar to CBP can answer the following questions before I consider buying a key....
a) Can I create more than one Database, or Data File as it is called in Quicken or MS Money ? (I need two for my use)
b) The QIF Import I've tried in CBP only imports "Transfers" as another "Category" and not as a true Transfer, I tried to see if I could "mass" change the entry Type to Transfer but it appears that I can only change one entry at a time even tho I grouped all the transfers from and to the same Account(s) I appreciate that this might leave a duplicate entry on one side of the transaction but it would be far easier to group and delete all resultant duplicates rather than try and change EVERY Transfer in my Accounts (8 Accounts and 8,000 transactions) manually...
To be able to show actual Inter-Account Transfers is desirable because they will not then show up as either a Debit or a Credit, simply as a movement of Funds within the Accounts structure which do not necessarily affect the Net Worth. (Transfers do not necessarily require a Category)
c) Can I Delete/Edit or Create new Categories, I can't seem to find out how to do this..... I can of course stick with the ones that CBP creates when it creates a new Database but they do not serve my purpose...
Any advice would be much appreciated.......

That's under Accounts > Edit All Accounts...

You'll have to wait for Splasm guys to answer a and b though.

Creating new Categories is a snap, but how do you create sub-categories??
The default sub-categories are formatted as "AAAAA:bbbbb" (no spaces). I can enter a new category in that format but it does not become a sub-category...
What gives??

That is how you create subcategories. The colon denotes the separation between category and subcategory. For example, Vehicle:Maintenance, Maintenance is a subcategory of the Vehicle Category.
