I know a lot of people are asking for this. Why can't you give some kind of update to let us know where you are in the process, or if you even care that a multitude of your customers want this?

I've held off on this comment for a long time, but my patience is starting to wear thin.

Unfortunately, there's nothing new to report concerning our forthcoming iOS version of CheckBook. Basically, we're still hung-up on perfecting the syncing capabilities in the next Mac version update, version 2.5. We do have an iOS app prototype that works well, but we need to have the syncing groundwork fully in place on the Mac side before we shift focus back to ironing out the remaining kinks in the mobile data syncing functionality. We're hoping to have 2.5 out in the coming weeks, so if all goes well, that means we could possibly have the iOS version ready for release early next year.

We very much care that a multitude of customers are waiting for this and that they've been waiting. We're doing our best to deliver, but have been avoiding making any promises because in the past, we've been unable to fulfill those promises due to unexpected hitches arising. We appreciate you hanging in there as long as you have and hope you can hang in a bit longer. Thanks!

It seems like there’s always something standing in the way of the long-promised iOS version... and it’s getting very stale at this point.

You can "care" all you want... but until you deliver something, you’ve demonstrated a lack of concern for those funding your existence.

I have to agree. At this point I'm looking around for other alternatives.
