One of the best time saving features from Quicken was the ability to download transactions from by bank. Is there a way to do this with Checkbook pro? If I set it up through the bank's website they offer suggestions for quicken, microsoft money, and excel. Any suggestions are appreciated.

CheckBook Pro isn't capable of connecting directly to your bank in order to pull the data in automatically. However, most banks offer downloadable statements in one of the following formats accepted for import by CheckBook: QIF, OFX, QFX, CSV or Tabbed Text. So you can download your statements and import them in periodically.

If you choose the Quicken option on your bank's website, you'll probably get your transaction data in OFX format. If that's the case, just choose Import > OFX from CheckBook Pro's File menu to get started.
