The automatic check number increment is broken in this version. The check number always restarts at 1 when CBP is started. This is on a Mac running OS X 10.6.8.

I noticed similar. All was well until I deleted a previous check number (I had marked a debit as a check instead of an online payment), and the next check was ”1”. But I just went back and tried it again and it worked properly. Even after I deleted a check number.

You managed to get it working after a CBP restart? So far I've not been able to get that to work.

I'm running 10.8.4

It reset to 1 after the last upgrade a few days ago, but once I entered a check number it seems fine after that. I actually had the Mac off last night because of thunderstorms, and the restart today was fine. A new debit marked "check" entered properly.

BruceK,

We changed the way the last check number is stored, so it may use 1 on the next check in each Account, but after that it should properly remember. Have you entered more than one new check and found that it's not remembering?

Allan:

My apologies - you are correct. After entering the correct check number it does appear that CBP remembers where I left off the next time I start up CBP.

Thanks for setting me straight.

Bruce
